“I lost 20 pounds. But I didn’t diet. Now when my body feels hungry, I first ask myself what my soul needs, and I feed it what it needs, and then my body can eat. And that’s how I lost 20 pounds just by feeding my soul instead of my stomach.

I believe I’m worthy. I now prioritize myself and my needs. I definitely am much more sure of myself. I think one thing that I’ve gotten really good about now is my boundaries for myself and others. Letting people know in the moment how I am feeling and if they have crossed a boundary.

My willingness to trust has improved. When I start to feel my heart close off, I have the choice to allow it to close off or to leave it open and work through whatever conversation or whatever situation I need to, and I’m okay with the discomfort of that.
